I’ve eaten here multiple times, the food never disappoints always good, always taste fresh, owner is very friendly. Thank You so much 06/08/2024 I don’t know how to add another review so I came back to this previous review. I went today 06/08/2024, the food is always delicious, I always get Chicken Nasi Goreng(Chicken Fried Rice) I have got to say, there is something special about Indonesian fried rice style that sets itself apart from other fried rice out there and its the best I also got the orange chicken, very delicious also, my brother got the crispy chicken katsu, he says it’s very delicious. We will always come back for more , the owner and staff are always so nice to their customers PS, try the spicy sauce also wow it is hot!!! but delicious if you dare this place is a real hidden gem in Rockford.

I should've taken a photo of my Bento Box before eating it but it was looking too good that I had to dig into it as soon as I got home! The presentation of the Tofu Teriyaki Bento was amazing and it tasted absolutely perfect! One of the owners, who rang up my order, was incredibly kindhearted and had such a warm and welcoming energy to her! :) Once I had ordered the Tofu Teriyaki Bento, she politely asked if I was vegetarian or not. When I informed her that I am, she swapped out a non-vegetarian side for one that was vegetarian friendly. This was such a breath of fresh air as I've found it more difficult than not to find good and affordable vegetarian options around the Rockford region! Another amazing bonus is that their online menu pretty much states everything that's within a dish so you don't have to worry about ordering something you're unsure is plant based friendly or not. This is such a wonderful thing that I think all menus should offer! I will absolutely be back as soon as I can for another Tofu Teriyaki Bento! I can't reccomend giving this wonderful restaurant and their amazing team enough! Thank you all for the amazing dinner!! :)

I ordered the pork katsu as it's my favorite type of bento, and I'm quite the critic I take my katsu very seriously. The dish was excellent, I loved how crispy the pork was and the amount of breading. The sauce had kewpie mayo in it which was a lovely touch. I also enjoyed the accompanying gyoza and curry quite a bit! Overall I can't wait to order more dishes, I have not found a place in Rockford that does pork katsu well until today! Great job love your food.

Came with my family to try this spot out. Its a hidden gem. The food was super good. If you haven't tried it you need to. Everything we tried was delicious. Chicken me goreng, chicken teriyaki and bbq fried rice. Do yourself a favor a grab 2 jasmine teas maybe more since you'll be craving more after the first one.

Delicious karage chicken made fresh to order. The flavor and crisp was 10/10. I also got a braised egg which took the meal to the next level. I definitely will come back here next time in Chicago. The lady who works in the front was extremely friendly, enjoyable and tended to my needs while eating in the restaurant. This is a must try!!!

I am so happy we now have a restaurant that serves Indonesian food in the Chicagoland. Everything that we tried was very good. We had tahu isi (Indonesian deep fried vegetable stuffed tofu), lumpia (Indonesian chicken spring roll), crab rangoon and fried wonton for appetizers. They were all outstanding. For main dish, we had nasi uduk and ayam goreng (Indonesian coconut rice and fried chicken), babi kecap (Indonesian braised pork with sweet soy sauce), Indonesian noodle with chicken and mushroom, Indonesian noodle with chicken, wonton and meatballs, and Indonesian fried rice. Again, they were all delicious. We also had a Mocha Lapis Surabaya birthday cake. It’s and Indonesian 3 layer cake. Very yummy.
